[Serving the 19th National Congress of CPC] 20 Students Majoring in Hotel Management of Trade and Tourism Management School Participated in the Reception and Service of the 19th National Congress of CPC

During the conference period, a young group was active in the press center in Beijing Media Hotel, who participated in the affairs of conference venue arrangement, etiquette guidance, catering and hotel room, and provided hospitable and intimate services. The group of young, enthusiastic and vigorous service personnel in their early twenties was the students in Grade 2015 in hotel management major of trade and Tourism Management School of the College. During the conference period, the 20 students as interns at Beijing Media Center Hotel were fortunate to participate in the reception and service of the grand conference. For them, this was an internship practice in the highest level.
As the press center of the 19th National Congress of CPC, the hotel undertook extremely heavy work of reception and service every day since it needed to receive several thousand media journalists, and almost replace and re-arrange the conference materials in various types every day. The students from Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College who participated in the work were working with overload every day. From catering department, hotel room department, to banquet hall, distinguished conference guest reception center, to the etiquette posts, the students from Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College were working diligently but remained unknown to the public. They accomplished the hard work without complaint just to fulfill the only purpose: To try the best to guarantee the successful progress and accomplishment of the conference.
Qin Yingjing, a student from Class 1, Grade 2015 of hotel management, took responsibility for passing the microphone in a section in the journalist conference hall, who kept standard and elegant sitting posture for more than two hours. Xu Jingbo, a famous media insider for Japan and a delegate, paid attention to her and post WeChat Moments with a photo to praise her professionalism! Hearing the words of praise at the site “this girl is so great”, Qin Yingjing felt that as long as I could even do this seemingly insignificant work in a good manner and persevered with it, I would win the recognition of the people.
Su Jiahui, class monitor of Class 2, Grade 2015 of hotel management, took responsibility for rostrum arrangement. In the whole process of work, he presented the strong sense of responsibility and good sense of organizational discipline. Though the work is hard, he felt honored, “In the service for the 19th National Congress of CPC, I did not only enrich my knowledge, but also broaden my horizon. It encouraged me a lot. It is a precious experience for us.”
Except for Qin Yingjing and Su Jiahui, the other 18 students were also diligent, hard working, enthusiastic and polite at their own posts and provided quality service for the conference. The practice, internship and practical training of hotel management in the national highest level did not only give them a good chance to apply their knowledge in real situation and improve the business competency, but also brought multi-dimensional improvement in service awareness, political awareness and overall situation awareness.
The hotel leaders also spoke highly of the high political consciousness, steadfast work attitude and spirit of bearing hardship of the students. They thought that thee students from Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College were highly competent, hard working, diligent, active, persevering, enthusiastic and willing to learn and able to accomplish the work upon the commencement. They expressed their gratitude to Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College for training these excellent students and wished to promote the cooperation with the College. They also sent another invitation to invite Trade and Tourism Management School to dispatch the students in Grade 2016 in hotel management major for the internship in December this year and make preparations for the services for 2018 NPC & CPPCC!
