On the morning of November 22, the Alumni Association of Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College was established. At the same time, the Guangdong Alumni Branch and Liuzhou Alumni Branch were established as well. The establishment ceremony was held at T1-D401 Lecture Hall of Guantang Campus. Shi Lingming, the President, Yang Xu, the Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of the College, Huang Rirong, the Chairman of Guangdong Alumni Branch, Zhou Wenguang, the Chairman of Liuzhou Alumni Branch and over 50 alumni from Beijing, Guangdong and Guangxi, etc. attended the ceremony hosted by Ju Hongxia, the Vice President.

At the ceremony, Ju Hongxia announced that "The establishment of the first organization and institute of alumni association of Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College has opened a new chapter for alumni work". Besides, Shi Lingming awarded and issued the letter of employment for Alumni Association, Guangdong Alumni Branch and Liuzhou Alumni Branch. Ju Hongxia promised on behalf of the college that " We must be dedicated to complete the glorious mission of Alumni Association endowed by massive alumni based on the purpose of "serve the alumni with all heart and soul" and insisted on the school motto of "to be an upright person dependably, to handle affairs seriously". In the ceremony, the Regulations of Alumni Association in Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College and Alumni APP of Liuzhou Vocational &Technical College have been released.

In the warm applauses, Shi Lingming and Yang Xu accepted, on behalf of the College, the alumni fund and painting donated by the alumni. Huang Rirong, Chairman of Guangdong Alumni Branch, appreciated the College for the cultivation of numerous alumni in his speech, and expressed the wish to jointly develop with the College and build the win-win pattern. Zhou Wenguang, Chairman of Liuzhou Alumni Branch, also congratulated, on behalf of the Alumni in Liuzhou, the alma mater for its school-running strength and social influence, and expressed the determination to positively support the development of the alma mater and passionately serve the alumni.

In the speech, Shi Lingming stated that, Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College, established over forty years ago, has been working despite of wind and rain, passing knowledge generation after generation, with students all over the world and thousands of talents, demonstrating the better and better prosperous development pattern in the campus, teachers, study style, quality and students sources. A large number of alumni have become the business backbones in their institute and fields, even the leading figures. The school-running reputation of the college has increased year by year and its social influence has expanded continuously. All those were the results under the care, support and jointly endeavor of all sectors of society, faculty and students and massive alumni of the college.

Shi Lingming indicated that, alumni were the precious power and source of the college business development, and they have already become the solidary community with a common future to sharing of both good and bad times with the college. The college highly focused on the alumni work and specially established the office of alumni work, and established and improved the management system of alumni work, and held many alumni fellowship activities, etc., which have great promoting effects on contacting the affection among alumni, summoning the alumni power, integrating alumni sources and serving the alumni development. Today, at the significant moment of the opening ceremony of "Approaching Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College – 2017 Autumn Open Week", the establishment of Alumni Association at the right time provides system and organization guarantee for comprehensively carrying out alumni work, and certainly will powerfully promote the alumni work of the College to the path of standardization and scientization.
