LVTC Participates in the Recording of Super Vocational Education School of Guangxi Radio and Television

From News Center (Text by Qin Yuming, Publicity Department of the CPC LVTC Committee; Photo by Guangxi Radio and Television) The 3rd episode of the 4th season of Super Vocational Education School, which is under the guidance of the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and undertaken by Guangxi Radio and Television, aired on the city channel of Guangxi Radio and Television at 22:20 on June 25, 2022. As the sole large-scale original TV program and a platform of vocational education promotion in Guangxi, Super Vocational Education School has always been focusing on the modernization, school-running system and the implementation of Double High-levels Plan of the vocational education in Guangxi. It has also been working on all-round publicity and promotion of vocational education. Enlisted in “National Top-Notch Vocational Institutions and Programs Plan”, LVTC was invited to participate in the show.

The theme of this episode was: "Craftsmen in the future". According to General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions, vocational education has a promising future with great potential during the new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country. As the member of High-level vocational colleges and High-level majors, Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Maintenance and Management Majors in LVTC have been implementing the development idea of "technology-led", have set the talent training goal as cultivating skilled compound high-tech personnel in intelligent manufacturing, brought cutting-edge technologies including Industrial Internet, Digital Twin, Metal 3D printing and laser welding into base construction and teaching process and helped our students win national awards in many skills competition.

In order to fully demonstrate the excellent achievements made by our school in vocational education, Liu Zilin, Secretary of Party Committee of LVTC, Wang Fuchun, Vice Dean of School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Deng Qigui, Director of the Engineering Practice and Training Center, 4 students from School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and 1 student from the School of Arts, as well as our outstanding alumni Qiu Liubin and Wei Yonghao, participated in the recording of the show.

In the show, Liu Zilin introduced the development status of the school from the aspects of school-running achievements, school-running characteristics, student employment and development strategies. He put his emphasis on outstanding results of empowering local industry through talent cultivation and industry-education integration. Wang Fuchun, Deng Qigui and the 4 students showed the audience the Digital Twin Technology of industrial robot through palletizing competition between two teams. The team which has a more complete and accurate result with more layers wins. It was very thrilling contest. Zhao Yadie, student from the School of Arts (winner of the first prize of Artistic Professional Skill (Vocal Performance) in the Guangxi Vocational College Skills Competition (Higher Vocational Group) ), sang Jin Se, which showed the artistic atmosphere of our school. Qiu Liubin and Wei Yonghao, outstanding alumni of our school, showed the excellent skills of making Bing Dwen Dwen by CNC milling machine and opening cans by an excavator through short videos, so as to encourage students to study technical skills and become a person useful in national construction.

The show further promotes our school-running achievements, characteristics and models, and helps the audience to gain a better understanding of vocational education.
